9th BBBB Symposium will continue with the established praxis of two parallel sections covering different fields of pharmacy (Pharmaceutical technology & industry related topics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Clinical pharmacy & Laboratory medicine, Pharmaceutical analytics, and Biotechnology). Plenary and keynote speakers from all BBBB and other European countries, will provide up-to-date information on their research work. There will be plenty of possibility for poster and oral presentations from established and emerging scientists, selected from submitted abstracts.

The key topics of the symposium:

title-line
  • Pharmaceutical technology and nanotechnology: towards digital, sustainable and continuous processing of user-friendly (biotech) medicines: sections covering new trends in industrial pharmacy, development of user-friendly oral dosage forms, hot-melt processing and printing technologies in pharmaceutical manufacturing, formulation and delivery challenges of small and biotech drugs (four sections). friendly oral dosage forms, hot-melt processing and printing technologies in pharmaceutical manufacturing, formulation and delivery challenges of small and biotech drugs (four sections).
  • Pharmaceutical chemistry: new molecules for treating neurodegenerative diseases, and bacterial/ viral infections (two sections).
  • Pharmaceutical biology: peptides as therapeutics and biorecognition elements, and m-RNA vaccines.
  • Clinical pharmacy and laboratory medicine: therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) & Pharmacogenomics in personalised medicine (two sections).
  • Pharmaceutical analytics: emerging contaminants in environmental samples and pharmaceutical products.
